tutor: AYLWARD, Sarah cost: $322
phone: 9908 2312
email: admin@workshoparts.org.au

Students will be encouraged to broaden their horizons using techniques in layers of acrylic, watercolour, ink, pastels, gouache and collage. They will explore colour, tone, form and texture as a means to achieving mixed media and acrylic works. Themes may include landscape, still life, figure, portrait and personal projects. Students will be taught to capitalise on mistakes and problem solve in layers. Students own marks and unique style is of primary importance. There is different experimental work each term. All skill levels.

‘I endeavour to help students to relax into and celebrate the painting journey rather than focus on the destination. I aim to facilitate in painting terms an inner dialogue with the subconscious and unconscious, the source of true inspiration.’
